Group A :
a)For getting a job in group A we need to write examination of upsc / civil examination
b)These exams are monitored by UPSC
c)Type of employment
1. Technical
2. Non-Technincal
3.Medical (for MBBS students)
d) Salary varies from 80,000 and above
e) For technical field we need to have B.Tech degree
Group B :
1. Group B does not have any kind of examination
2. People get into group B by promotion
3.People from Group C when they get promoted they are in Group B
Group C :
1. Group C and Group D is monitored by Indian Railways
2.All the requirements are provided in the website itself
3. Type of Employment
a)Ticket collector
b) Assistant Locomotive pilot (ACM) ( min 10th pass)
c) Technical Assistant (min 12th pass with PCM background)
d) Goods and Carriage
4. Salary varies from 25,000 to 30,000 in the beginning and varies in different zones
5.Allowance is provided excluding from the salary
Group D :
1. Group D is also monitored by Indian Railways
